WordPress malware removal and security hardening
Cleaning the visible infection is the easy part. The real job is finding how the attacker got in, because if that door stays open the malware is back next week.
Is this the right service for you?
A good fit if
- Your site redirects visitors to spam, betting or pharmacy pages
- Google shows “This site may be hacked” or your host suspended the account
- Strange admin users, files or posts appeared that nobody on your team created
- Many sites on one hosting account keep getting reinfected
What's included
Every project is scoped to your site, but these are the parts I never skip.
Full scan
Files and database checked, not just the plugin folder a scanner looks at.
Manual cleanup
Backdoors, injected scripts, spam pages and rogue admin users removed by hand.
Root cause
The way in found and closed: an outdated plugin, a nulled theme, a weak password or a neighbouring site.
Hardening
Updates, file permissions, file editing disabled, two-factor login and a security plugin set up properly.
Blacklist recovery
Google Search Console review requested once the site is clean.
Backups and monitoring
Off-site backups and alerts, so the next problem is caught early.
From first message to launch
- 01
Triage
Access, a backup of the infected state, and a quick look at how far it spread.
- 02
Isolate
Infected sites separated so they can’t keep reinfecting each other.
- 03
Clean
Malicious code and database entries removed, core and plugins replaced with clean copies.
- 04
Find the root cause
Logs and file dates traced back to the original entry point.
- 05
Harden and verify
Security set up, scans rerun and Google review requested.
Questions people ask before hiring me
Can’t find your question? Ask me on WhatsApp, I answer within one business day.
How quickly can you start?
As soon as I have access. I begin with triage and a backup of the infected site so nothing is lost, then clean in order of what harms visitors most.
Will I lose my content?
No. Your posts, pages, products and orders stay. I remove only what was injected, and I keep a backup of the original state in case anything needs to be checked later.
Why does malware keep coming back?
Because the entry point is still open, or a backdoor was missed. On one shared hosting account I cleaned 120+ infected sites, and the fix only held once the cross-site contamination was stopped at the account level.
What access do you need?
WordPress admin, hosting control panel or SFTP, and database access. I’ll walk you through sharing them safely and you can change every password once I’m done.
Is a security plugin enough?
It helps, but it’s one layer. Updates, strong passwords with two-factor login, correct file permissions and off-site backups matter just as much.
Most projects need more than one of these

One message is enough to start. I reply within one business day with questions, a rough plan and an honest timeline.
